Year 3 Day 199 – “Living the Dream”. Friday, 11/17/2023. Clifty Hill 2 – Last night was a warm gorgeous night. We attended Koral’s high school musical called “OUT OF OUR MINDS”. It was an excellent performance and so nice to be out and about in the evening. Being home every night like a mole has been driving me crazy. Oh yes, I watch Izombie every night. How healthy is a brain eating show on your brain. Anyway, back to the musical. It was a day in a high school classroom. The play revolved around what does a high school student deal with emotionally all day long. While a teacher is trying to teach and lead them, every young person’s mind is filled with so much drama. The ups and downs of a teenager’s life is very dramatic. Some of it is over minor things, like losing your hair to maybe some big things in their relationships at home and/or school. The voices were excellent, and the dramatic acting was spectacular. I didn’t get a video of Koral singing, but she was awesome. The only part of the entire night that could have used improvement, was that the piano should have been softer Some of the voices were drowned out by the loudness of the piano. Such a minor tweak would have moved this performance from extra good to great. Just like the reason behind the book “Out of our minds” by Ken Robinson these types of high school performances will help to promote the students involved and the audiences to think more creatively as they age. Promoting creativity is the key for our future generation of leaders.

The roofing continued this morning,

and I went to meet some friends for coffee and then had a manicure pedicure. I had the best little friend snuggled by my feet. This service dog was 11 months old. What a well-behaved dog. The owner says he is well behaved until she says to him “Milo you are off duty”. Then he is a crazy wild puppy.

Steve got rained out after 1/2 day so in the afternoon we did errands, and he had a long-needed haircut at Great Clips. This is the third place he has tried since we moved here. I think he is satisfied with Great Clips. The man did a fantastic haircut. I printed off our luggage tags for December’s cruises and it led me to share today’s product of Royal Caribbean luggage tag holders. We have been using these luggage tag holders a long time now. They fit Royal Caribbean tags perfectly, but we do fold and stuff MSC tags in them also. We use them on every cruise. Here’s a link. https://amzn.to/3sDCVuj
