Living the Dream Year 3 Day 123 – Clifty Hill 2 – Framing Day 14 – Justin helps lay sub flooring

Year 3 Day 123 – “Living the Dream”. Saturday, 9/02/2023. Clifty Hill 2 – Framing day 14. Justin helped lay the sub floor today. It was a hot long workday. I tried to stay out of the sun and let my nose heal. The sun was brutal this afternoon. It was like being under a broiler. I was called numerous times to bring water over. I don’t know how they can work in that sun.

At least with the sub floor going down I can go over and sit in the lower level in the shade.

I am in the process of making the “BOMB” for Monday’s birthday celebration. It is a Chocolate, Butter Pecan ice cream cake named by Alma. This cake has to be started three days prior to serving it. Day one which is today you make the two layers of cake. After they cool you slice them each in half, so you have four thinner layers of cake. Then you freeze each of the four layers separately.

Here is your thought to ponder today!

Today’s product recommendations are for protecting yourself from the sun. I have become paranoid with protecting myself from the sun. My shoulder and Mohs surgery twice and now precancer on my nose. I decided I better buy some things to keep me covered so I can go outside. First, I love these shirts. They are comfortable, lightweight, come in many colors and are spf 50+. I am protected on the job and hiking on vacation. Here’s a link to them: https://amzn.to/44zt8SU The Dermatologist recommended Blue Lizard Sunscreen and Neutrogena. Here’s are links to those products: https://amzn.to/3OT8GXs and https://amzn.to/3Z1VJiS I also found this really nice sweater that will go great with jeans with spf +50. Here’s a link to that. https://amzn.to/45ONPLK I love Amazon and I just realized today that I can share a link to all the current best-selling items. Wow – Here it is https://amzn.to/3R2Lrgh
