Year 3 Day 100 – “Living the Dream”. Thursday, 8/10/2023. Another down day. This week has been doctor city for Steve and I have been the driver or hero support. First, he had a routine colonoscopy on my birthday. Hey – happy birthday to me. He was clean as a whistle no polyps at all. Remember the night before my birthday he spent a lot of time in the bathroom No need for another colonoscopy for 10 years. Yes, my turn is coming. At least I wasn’t in there on my birthday.
Then dentist for a filling. Ok, I didn’t have to hold his hand for that. Now today we went to a hand specialist. He has a trigger finger and was given a steroid shot. Not much else to say. It was a rainy drive to Lexington this morning. It is amazing how much disrespect doctors have for their patients. The hand center made us wait 45 minutes to be seen. We were told to arrive fifteen minutes early which we did. Our appt was at 10am. We sat until 10:45am. Doctor was in room maybe five minutes. He went got the shot, came back and gave shot. Was in the room maybe another five minutes. He seemed very knowledgeable though. So that’s a good thing. We did like him. More bags of mortar were purchased, and tomorrow is a plastering day.
