Year 3 Day 39 – “Living the Dream”. Saturday, 6/10/2023. I had to share what a friend posted on Facebook today. It’s amazing what one can accomplish with hard work, grit and resiliency. Anyone can be that overachiever, however that is defined from within. Many looking for shortcuts or “entitlements”, in all likelihood, never reach whatever it is they are expecting to reach. The answers come from the person reflecting in your mirror, yet many find it easier to find some conspiracy or deck of cards that are deliberately stacked against them. Mindset is a powerful thing that can either take you to great heights or demoralize one’s sense of self. Much is within one’s own control to determine approach every day. While a forecast may call for partly cloudy weather, the flip side of that means it’s also partly sunny. Same weather, different frame of reference and mindset. This just hit me so hard today. More people need to read this and think about it every day. The lower level is sooo hot with the heater running. The carpet has to be warm in order to stretch. Carpeting is coming along nicely. The exercise half of the room is down and vacuumed by the end of the day.
Outside the hummingbirds are really happy.
Inside Puppy dog, Sammy 2 keeps a watch on the hallway from the spare bedroom upstairs.
Today’s product recommendations are for keeping your skin looking its best at sea and in the sun. My favorite skin care products are made by Elemis. He tends to break out when he uses sunscreen often. He finds the ELEMIS Dynamic Resurfacing Facial Pads excellent to use. It cleans that sunscreen out of his pores.
