Year 2 Day 361 – “Living the Dream”. Tuesday, 4/25/2023. Day 11 (at sea traveling from George Town, Cayman Islands to Cartegena, Colombia) of 21-night Radiance of the Seas Galveston TX to Los Angeles, CA cruise. OMG OMG OMG. This morning was a bummer. I carry a packable scale with me while traveling. I weigh myself every morning and I have been losing weight this trip. This morning I look at the number and say OK no way have I lost 11 pounds. I don’t look different, and clothes are fitting the same. Steve says put it on the bathroom floor which is tile instead of the rug. Well, I found my eleven pounds. Nope didn’t lose anything but haven’t gained either. What a bummer. So, I went walking on the track at 6:30am. There are a lot of people jogging and walking this morning. Beautiful day for it. This ship was way in the distance.
At noon we have sailed 1,279 nautical miles since Galveston, Texas. We have another 307 nautical miles to Cartagena, Colombia.
These stats are very interesting. Most people on this cruise are gold. The Royal Caribbean Crown & Anchor Society program consists of six tiers. You get 1 point for every night you spend on a ship and 1 additional point for every night you spend in a suite. Gold (3-29 points), Platinum (30-54 points), Emerald (55-79 points), Diamond (80-174 points), Diamond Plus (175-699 points), and Pinnacle Club (700 or more points).

I hate those interstate rest area seats. Men have it so easy. Not us ladies we have to sit on those seats. Sometimes they are really wet from other people’s bodily fluids. How gross is that.
