Year 2 Day 347 – “Living the Dream”. Tuesday, 4/11/2023. We bought another 12 bales of hay this morning. We had thought that the 20 bales of hay we bought would have been enough hay to cover the grass seed we planted. But as you know we have had some wicked windy days. We raked up as much of the hay as we could and brought it back to the yard. Today Steve finished seeding any bare spots of ground and spread the hay. We are over by about 1/2 a bale.
He mowed the new field and rolled it. It takes about one and 1/2 hours to do. The driveway is basically done, except we want to put more of a radius on the turn into the parking area. The extra gravel is stored behind the shed and out of the way.
We are preparing for another adventure. Getting ready requires a haircut.
Hope it rains while we are away. We have been watering our lawn and new shrubs morning and night every day.
