Year 2 Day 339 – “Living the Dream”. Monday, 4/3/2023. Landscaping continues. We filled in the left side of the house to where the sidewalk will be with topsoil. It is a large area. Landscaping is getting expensive.

The middle level bath is fully decorated except the rug needs to be swapped for another. It is ordered from Amazon. We did hang a valance. I like it. Steve does have to patch up some holes. I wanted the rods to be two inches out on each side and there was no wood there. He doesn’t want to use anchor bolts. So he hung them where he could find wood. Next house he says he will put wood two inches outside of the window frames for curtain rods. The rod is 5 1/2 inches from the top of the window frame to the bottom of the rod leaving most of the window uncovered by the valance. It hits a sweet spot between window dressings and no window dressings. I think the room is modern with an earthy minimalist style.

I decided I needed to be more involved with local people and attended the Somerset Newcomers Monthly lunch meeting at Renos. This is a women’s club. I learned they also have a men’s club called ROMEOS’s. That is hysterical. It stands for “Retired Old Men Eating Out”.

We decided we are on the quest to visit all 50 states. Talking to a friend the other day she says that her, her husband, and their son have been to 37 states. So, Steve and I decided to count how many states we have been to. The number is 24, not even half the states.
Today’s product recommendation is for the Rev-A-Shelf. I love this for my pots, pans and lids. The one we recently installed is the 21 inches with a spot on the top shelf for the lids. We will also be installing a smaller one for baking dishes. These are awesome. https://amzn.to/3CzOwwq https://amzn.to/3ZcBuyq
