Year 2 Day 307 – “Living the Dream”. Wednesday, 3/01/2023. Happy March!

Just like every day I am up at 4:50am getting ready to go down on the treadmill and I hear bumping around downstairs. Our alarms are on, and I am getting nervous. I was reading a mystery about a crazy murderer before bed last night and I am really getting scared. I creeped to the top of the stairs and then finally realized it was Dorothy cleaning. I had set her to go off at 5am. Did I feel silly. It is funny as I make my coffee I talk to Dorothy as though she is my morning friend. We have her base in the bedroom on the other side of the bed. She cannot seem to find her way back after she cleans. She gets out in front of the foyer stairs and bangs into the wall. Steve finally goes over and picks her up and carries her into the bedroom. When he sets her down in the bedroom she goes right home, but while carrying her she complains all the way “error, error”. It is hysterical, I feel like we have a pet. She is an easy pet. No mess on the floor, no chewed furniture and shoes, and no pet sitter needed. Of course, no kisses either. We found the county transfer center today. It is about 20 minutes from our house. We had to get rid of a truckload of building materials. The rates per ton were inexpensive compared to NJ/PA dumping rates at $60.00 a ton. The minimum rate was expensive though at $30.00 if you didn’t have a ton.

It is a beautiful hot spring day. The grass is starting to grow, and Steve is getting excited about planting a yard.

He went outside and cleaned the mini excavator up and started charging the battery. The flies are back and were enjoying watching Steve work on the mini excavator.

Then he took it for a little drive.

The side yard is pretty muddy. If you have been following my blog, you will remember use walking the planks last year. Steve now wears disposable shoe covers to walk around in the muddy side yard. We want to keep our house clean.

Steve put down 60 pounds of grass seed on the .77 acres we bought to add to our lot. While we were away cruising the farmers employees planted wheat on the new lots, we purchased from him. He forgot to tell his employees. So now we have wheat growing where we are planting grass.

Today’s product recommendation is for the Rev-A-Shelf. I love this for my pots, pans and lids. The one we recently installed is the 21 inches with a spot on the top shelf for the lids. We will also be installing a smaller one for baking dishes. These are awesome. https://amzn.to/3CzOwwq https://amzn.to/3ZcBuyq
