I found the Avocado toast breakfast station in the Windjammer! Delicious!!! All the breakfast food and choices were good in the Windjammer. Best part was the avocado toast though.

We asked the Diamond concierge why we didn’t get our complimentary bottle of wine yesterday in our room. Well, when going out of a Texas port they are not allowed to give us our bottle until the next day. There is some kind of law in Texas. We have no idea what the law is. Steve thinks it is something to do with paying tax. The day is overcast and in the 70’s with a little rain here and there.

We had a nice day and even met up with Debby and Bruce in the Diamond Lounge. The Diamond Lounge is on Deck 13 and has the specialty coffee machine, continental breakfast, and evening appetizers. The view of the walking deck and the pool is nice from the Diamond Lounge.

The best part of cruising is making friends and then meeting up with them on future travels. I really don’t like the shower curtains in the cabin bathrooms on this ship. At lunch time the captain made his noon time talk. It was great, he told us all about the Gulf of Mexico and even its history. It was the best noon time captain announcement I have ever heard. I was told this is his first trip as Captain. In the afternoon we had afternoon coffee and cookies. Of course, I had one bite and there was a long hair baked into my cookie. Well, I knew I should not eat cookies.

We did have the best Roast beef sandwich from the Park Cafe. Royal Caribbean ships are known for this Cafe’s Roast beef Sandwiches. The rolls are fantastic and tasty with Caraway seeds. I wasn’t aware that these smaller ships had a smaller version by the Solariums. Sandwiches are just as good as the larger ships.

We spent time before dinner walking around the ship. We found the ship’s Department heads pictures. Years ago, there was a paper copy of these guys with pictures and bios placed in your room. Always kind of interesting to know about the people making the important decisions.

You can spend a lot of time looking at artwork on any cruise ship. In addition to all the hallways and venues, walk the many stairwells and there will be cool things to look at and read about.

Today’s product recommendations are for traveling by car. 1) We always carry this Igloo Playmate cooler in our back seat. She is always belted in. We carry water, lunch and snacks. We never go anywhere without it. https://amzn.to/41rWJNa 2) A first aid kit is also a necessity when you could be on the road far from a town. This is a great one. https://amzn.to/3Uyo2Ty 3) We also keep wet ones in all our vehicles. Using rest areas or eating snacks require the use of good antibacterial wipes. https://amzn.to/3UCWhJS 4) I also always keep these toilet seat paper covers in our vehicles. I hate those interstate rest area seats. Men have it so easy. Not us ladies we have to sit on those seats. Sometimes they are really wet from other people’s bodily fluids. How gross is that. These work great. Keep them in your vehicle or purse. https://amzn.to/41qjz7J
