Year 2 – Day 234, Sunday, December 18, 2022. It is really cold here. It was 28 degrees on the way out to breakfast this morning.
I am so glad we are cozy warm this year in our new home. I am getting soft here in Kentucky. In the Poconos they have already had snow with school closings. I don’t even like this cold here. They are predicting snow at the end of the week. Just say it isn’t so!!! We purchased three shelving units from Lowes. We are trying to get organized. The lower level is a little bit of a disaster again. One of the units is heavy duty and we’ll use to store tools on it in the lower level. Once the garage is completed, we’ll move it out there. The other two units are white wood shelves with cubies. We will use in one of the closets, but we are not sure which of the closet/closets. In the last few weeks, it has rained tremendously. Therefore, Steve decided he should check the septic system to see if the pipes were filled with water. They are completely dry. The system Steve installed is working great.
