Year 2 – Day 232, Friday, December 16, 2022. We took 5 boxes of hardwood flooring back today. Overestimated for sure. A tiny bit of flooring to lay, then the baseboard trim gets nailed up.
A good time of year to get a $700.00 refund. Just buying supplies to make Christmas Cookies is ridiculously expensive. The great day of Christmas cookie baking was supposed to be tomorrow, but a stomach virus has hit our granddaughter. So, we are trying for Thursday. We don’t want to get together with them if they are carrying a virus around. We will see. The schools are loaded with this nasty bug around here. Steve will be working on the stair railing tomorrow. That is a big job and very complicated detail work. We sit in the evening and stare at the lite up tree and the new Nutcracker is kind of scary. He has a beak bird nose.
