Year 2 – Day 208, Tuesday, November 22, 2022. We threw caution to the wind and headed to PA.
The grandkids are feeling okay now. Hopefully, all will be well when we get there. We have “Peeping Tom White Paws” the yard cat protecting our house. All day long he keeps setting the alarms off.
We make it to West Virginia where we spend the night and start eating unhealthily. First thing is a sub from Jersey Mike’s Subs. I am obsessed with them. I am so glad they don’t currently have a store near me. The story of where they started and how a 17-year-old student bought the business shows anyone can do anything.
Then there is Tim Horton’s right next to the hotel. I don’t think we walk the calories off going to get them.
The view from our house is fantastic in the evenings even when we aren’t home. Modern technology is the best.
Going up North deserves the best shirt. Fond memories!!
