Year 2 – Day 104, Wednesday, August 10, 2022. We have decided to update our septic system. So, we spent a long time today working on designing the new field. The tank itself is in excellent shape. We haven’t had any issues with it, but the talk around the neighborhood is that the leach field is on the adjacent property. We are not sure, but we would like to be prudent and make sure the laterals are on our lot and up to code. They don’t use beds down here. We have to have 180 feet of 6-foot-wide laterals for a three-bedroom house. I also received an invitation to the 25-year club Luncheon for Selective Insurance. It is so sad; I have other commitments and won’t be able to attend this year. I would so love to meet up with my Selective friends.
