Day 253 – “Living the Dream”. Saturday, 1/8/2022. It was a balmy 11 degrees this morning. The old house was a warm 32 degrees. It was warmer in the refrigerator than in the old house. My Keurig froze up, the water in the cabin froze, and the shower is frozen. Just a warm southern day here in KY. Need my coffee before I can deal with this cold stuff.
The neighbor had told us that there was no reason to go away to the Caribbean. We have really mild winters. Next year we will be away for January and February. Had to go to town today to get propane for the house heater. We went a long way to go around the guard rail less hill to get to town. We were told don’t go down that hill. Wait a few days. Today it ended up in the 40’s and we took our showers with snow surrounding us. Almost half of the upper level is now sheet rocked. Second bedroom looks good.
Master bedroom is getting there.
Coming up is the Master bedroom closet dressing room. Sheet rock is sitting in the upper-level bathroom.
Today’s product recommendation is for the Rev-A-Shelf. I love this for my pots, pans and lids. The one we recently installed is the 21 inches with a spot on the top shelf for the lids.
