Day 227 – “Living the Dream”. Monday, 12/13/2021. Justin came over and helped clean the lower level of the home
and unload the truck.
By early afternoon we were on our way to return the truck. Justin stayed at the house to clean up all the stuff the wind blew around outside during Saturday’s storms. He also was waiting for the inspector. Steve wanted to fill the truck’s tank with diesel fuel at the truck stop north of us before returning it. I led the way using Google maps. Unbelievable, after 20 minutes we came to a tunnel that was 8 feet tall. Steve had to turn the truck around again. What is the chance of that happening two times in a few days. The inspector was a no show today. It appears he only does inspections on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. We decided not to put our new Christmas tree up. We don’t want to upset the inspectors. Tomorrow I am going to buy a little tabletop one to put in the new house next to the recliner.
