Day 225 – “Living the Dream”. Saturday, 12/11/2021. We were up and out on the road by 4 am.

It was cold, dark, and rainy. It is amazing how many tractor trailers are on the highways that early in the morning.

It was a long day. We left at 4am and 16 hours later we were back at the Kentucky house. I drove the car and Steve followed in the truck. The only stops we made were for gas and rest rooms. The truck is so big that we could only stop at truck stops like Loves. It was nice that all the weigh stations were closed. It rained most of the day. At 6am I started getting calls and texts about the KY tornadoes. It is so nice to have so many people that care about Steve and me. I truly thank everyone for checking on us. What a sad situation here in Kentucky. My heart bleeds for the families affected by the tornadoes. We left Pennsylvania in the dark and arrived in Kentucky in the dark. There were some wicked storms by our new house also. The winds took away another canopy and our cabin plant.

The ground is also waterlogged from all the rain, but no real damage. Our new Williamsburg sign is here.

I can’t wait to hang it up.
Today’s product recommendations are for moving items: 1) We use our hand truck for moving lots of items around the house, and also 2) We own a few Carpeted Mover’s Dolly’s. They are a must to own if you are moving items around that are heavy. Here’s the links to these products:
