Day 213 – “Living the Dream”. Monday, 11/29/20211. It was 24 degrees this morning and we have water in the cabin. That 50-foot heated hose from Amazon works great. Went to take a shower around 11am and the propane heater was leaking like crazy. So, Steve aka Mr. fix it went to work to fix it. He opened the unit, found the break, and soldered it. Steve is amazing. He can do anything. Our shower is fixed yeah.
We hung blankets over the doorways in the old house.
Ran the heater all day in that room and actually hit 60 degrees by the end of the day.
Woohoo it is a glamping experience. Steve worked on electrical wiring today also. Kentucky has the most beautiful skies.
A sad thing happened last night that yard calico cat was hit by a car and killed. We feel so bad for it. I think we’re going to need another mouser here or we will be overrun by mice from the fields.
