Day 195 – “Living the Dream”. Thursday, 11/11/2021. My larger stainless-steel pot fell apart while cooking. It was an inexpensive one we had picked up at the start of this journey. Who knew that cooking on a high open flame would ruin the pot.
Today, we were at Lowes at 6am to pick up 16 bags of cement and aluminum to cover the facia (pine trim) boards.
Justin brought his cement mixer over and they mixed cement and poured the pad for the heat pump units.
HVAC guys are here and working on adding the condensation lines. Hopefully, they will have the rough in done soon.
Today was super windy and the rain was coming in.
After lunch I jumped in the shower. It was kind of a disaster. The flame from the propane that heats the water kept blowing out. Basically. I took a strange quick shower of hot then cold, turn off water and start up again with a repeat of the hot then cold, turn off water and start again. It is really raining now. By Saturday it will be in the low 40’s for the high.
