“Living the Dream” – Year 2 – Day 57, Saturday, June 25, 2022.
We are in Florida today, where everything is bigger. Bigger bugs, snakes, bees, ants, weeds, and flowers.
Some of the Florida 55 plus communities amaze me. I am not sure how seniors find their home. All the houses look the same.
We checked into our rental home. The entrance into the resort is really nice. It is a gated community so we had to go to the office to get a key to get in to the resort.
The homes are so similar it is amazing. Good thing there are numbers outside. We rented through VRBO. The manager sent a text this morning with the code to the front door. Nice contact less check in. There is a camera monitoring the front door of the home.
We were a little early and surprised the cleaning crew.
We took a quick look around the downstairs. The pool area looks really nice.
We left the ladies to finish their cleaning and headed to the busiest Walmart we have ever seen. There were no cashiers just rows and rows of self checkouts.
The one constant in the Kissimmee/Orlando area is the heavy heavy traffic. There is also the never ending building of tourist rental units.
