Year 2 – Day 44, Sunday, June 12, 2022. Justin stopped by to help Steve carry the carpet rolls to the upper level. I am so thankful for that. He was going to have me help him.
He also brought Spencer who just loves blueberries.
The carpet tack strips
were cut and
nailed into place around the room.
The plywood was screwed down where it was creaking when you walked from wood shrinkage. Then the carpet padding was rolled out,
cut and
stapled down.
Look at those scissors and they are the smaller pair.
Last few days of wearing shoes in the bedroom. Steve got his first of many cuts while doing the padding. The tack strip got him.
The mini blinds were hung.
We are all set for the installing the carpet tomorrow.
