“YOU CAN MOVE A MOUNTAIN IF YOU DO IT ONE SHOVEL AT A TIME”. This has become our morning after breakfast get to work mantra. Lower level insulating today. The top five feet where there is wood construction we are putting in R19 and the bottom four feet block construction is R13.

Sheetrock on lower level back wall is complete.

People keep asking when will the house be completed. Just to give you an idea of how much work is involved. That back wall drywall took 240 screws. Watch the video it is grueling hard work. You have to really push in that drill to get each screw set in. Also, this house will be here 100 years from now. For something to last that long it makes sense that the length of time creating it would be long.

We now have 2 recliners.
