Day 179 – “Living the Dream”. Tuesday, 10/26/2021. Woke up to a cold wet morning here in WV. Leaving the hotel, we noticed box cars or containers lined up behind Walmart which is located behind the hotels parking lot. They were not there when we arrived yesterday.
The drive back to KY was uneventful and smooth. We arrived home around 3pm and the HVAC guys were hard at work. We also found a broken hose bib. The water to the cabin had frozen while we were away, and the frost-free hose bib cracked. We changed vehicles and headed to Lowes for more lumber
and to pick up the sconces and pendant lights we had ordered online.
Steve also wanted to get his hair cut and the faded paint barber shop closes at 5pm. Here are some price facts. The price of gas is $3.15 here
and near Jenna’s in PA it was $3.66. The pumpkins at Kroger’s are $4.50 each and in PA they were $5.99.
