Day 88 – Living the Dream.
Day 88 – “Living the Dream”. Heating and air conditioning contractor came today to give us a price on putting in the central heating and air conditioning. Nice man and his helper. Funny he was seventy years old and flew up the ladders like a young man. So amazing. Now I keep hearing “If a seventy year old can go up so easy. Why can’t you?” Both dog house dormers are basically framed. The rafter tails are all on and just the tips of the ceiling joists need to be trimmed. Then the facia board needs to be placed on. After that the framing on the left hand side of the house is complete and ready for sheathing. Front and rear fly rafters still need to be completed.
I have been getting lazy the last week and we have not been eating as healthy as we had been. Therefore, my blood pressure has been creeping up. It could be the stress of this Living the Dream though. Going back to healthy eating. It is 5pm and 95 in the shade. Hot, hot day.
