Our cabin water is delivered via a house from the old house. It makes it difficult to mow the lawn. If you don’t move the hose and try to go over it, we have no water. Well you ask how do I know that? Trust me it is from experience.

A lot of time was spent today replacing the temporary adjustable columns with the custom made Lally columns we had made and shipped from Quality Way Products in Michigan. These new columns support 32,790 pounds each. The old temporary columns supported one third of that amount. We feel more comfortable with the high load bearing columns.









Tomorrow is the fourth of July, so we hung a flag in celebration of the Independence Day holiday.

They are verifying and ensuring there are nailers in all the corners. Nailers are needed to screw the sheetrock to.

The view from the first floor windows is outrageously gorgeous.

Steve gave me instructions before bed on how to hold and shoot the BB gun. He says the scope is really accurate. We are Living the Dream and I am Annie Oakley I think.
