Day 19 – Living the Dream.
Shopped for Plumbing and Electrical fixtures for the cabin today.

The hay around cabin was cut this morning and then teddered this evening. A tedder is used after cutting and aerates the hay to speed up the process of drying. The next step is to windrow the hay clippings. That is to place them in lines ready to bale.

The air conditioner is now in the window

and real plumbing is being installed. Ahhhh, no more Port-a-john with blue water splashing up on your butt. So, so disgusting.

The sheet rock has been taped and the first coat of spackle applied.

The wardrobe is installed and will serve as a divider for the bathroom. It blocks the view if someone were to open the door and you are in the bathroom area.

All is coming along fantastic. The plan is to spend tomorrow night in this cabin. Then we are on to excavating and digging the house foundation.
Today’s product recommendations are: 1) This little GE room air condition. It takes our cabin from 80 degrees to 65 in no time at all. 2) If you are working and need a stepladder, Steve will only buy Werner ladders. He says they are the best and last a long, long time. Here’s the Amazon links to these products:
