Day 8 – Living the Dream.
Today was a down day and we didn’t get very much accomplished. It was very cold and windy all day. I can’t believe we are in the South. It is so cold. We used a light to heat up the room.

We cut up all the cardboard, set up our printer, bought a vacuum, and more wood was loaded and carted away.

Then we had a small mother’s day picnic inside our worksite breakroom. Received red roses from my son’s family. First mother’s day with them in twenty years.

No one touched the peanut butter on the traps overnight. We are thinking field mice do not like the activity here and have left the house.

One other good to know thing is that the Port a John leaks in the rain. I am not a happy camper. Can’t wait to get back to the hotel tonight lol.. Happy Mother’s day everyone.
Here’s a link to the vacuum we bought. Love it!
