Day 2 Living the Dream.
We found the septic after a few hours of digging through hard dirt and huge roots. We then headed to the county environmental services office. We need a permit in order to use the existing septic for our new home. Fingers crossed they approve it. It has a newer type tank and looks like a good system to use. There are lots of horses in this neighborhood.
Be sure and get a good pair of work gloves like the ones below when digging. These protect your hands from nasty blisters.
